The ACTT Peer Support Specialist plays a key role in meeting the support needs of ACTT clients.  The major activities for this position include: - Utilizing outreach and engagement skills with each individual that are respectful of their stage of change - Promoting each individual’s self care by modeling and mentoring recovery values, attitudes, beliefs, and personal actions in order to encourage wellness and resilience. - Making supportive and encouraging statements regarding each individual’s recovery using self disclosure and unconditional acceptance in order to instill hope. - Demonstrating skill building techniques with each individual by modeling and/or teaching in order to assist each individual in making progress towards his or her goals and improve the quality of his or her life.   - Teaching harm reduction strategies through discussion of safety and risk taking with each individual in order to enhance healthy decision making. - Protecting each individual from harm during a crisis in accordance with trauma-informed practices and workable crisis plans. Exploring alternatives to prevent hospitalization and to support the individual in the community whenever possible. - Promoting self advocacy by facilitating each individual’s learning about his or her human and legal rights and supporting the individual while exercising those rights in order to empower the individual. - Supporting each individual in accessing community resources by facilitating familiarity with and connection to the local community in order to achieve desired integration.

As a member of the ACTT team, the nurse is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation and support services; and sharing shift-management responsibility with the ACTT coordinator. This includes taking the lead role or participate in providing medication administration and medical services.  Under the direction of the team psychiatrist, develop, revise, maintain, and supervise team psychopharmologic and medical treatment and medication policies and procedures including transcribing, administering, evaluating and recording psychotropic medications prescribed by the team psychiatrist, evaluate and chart psychotropic medication effectiveness, complications and side effects; and arrange for lab work according to protocol. Under the direction of the team psychiatrist, manage the system of getting medication to clients and integrating medication administration tightly into clients’ PCP.  Under the direction of the team psychiatrist, manage pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

The Child and Family Services Clinician provides clinical assessment, treatment planning, care coordination, provision of evidenced based psychotherapy interventions/protocols, crisis support as needed within parameters of an outpatient clinic such as suicide, threat or substance use assessments, participation in team meetings, participation in stakeholder or other community meetings, completion of administrative tasks such as documentation, billing, trainings, case management tasks and other needs identified by the outpatient team.  

The Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for providing outpatient mental health treatment/service to patients in the clinic setting. The position requires interaction with provider agencies and referral sources, participating in team meetings when appropriate and as requested, and offering education and support to the community.

The REC Team Leader oversees the implementation of the REC program, ensures integrity to the Recovery Education model, and provides leadership, consultation, direction and guidance to a team of clinicians and peer support specialists. As a clinician on the team, the Team Leader provides assessment, treatment, psychiatric rehabilitation, and support services to individuals with a broad range of mental health and substance use challenges, and assists in coordinating care across programs within our organization and also with other providers in the community. 

The Open Access Clinician recognizes the importance of individuals having timely access to services. This position allows individuals who are seeking behavioral health services the opportunity to engage in services through a walk-in clinic model. This position will be primarily be focused on adult and child initial assessments but will also provide specialized assessments both in person and through telehealth. Open Access clinicians are imbedded in the Recovery Education Centers and they provide assessment, crisis intervention, and brief individual support services to individuals with a broad range of mental health and substance abuse issues.

As a Patient Access Representative, you will work as an integral member of the team by providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers of BRH.  This role includes assisting patients with check-in and check-out during appoints while making sure all patient data is up to date and remains confidential. Other responsibilities include answering patient phone calls to assist with scheduling appointments.
