What You'll Do:

The Practice Manager II is responsible for day-to-day operations of assigned clinic/practice locations to ensure the highest degree of efficiency and quality in patient care and patient flow, The Practice Manager II typically supervises larger clinic sites (5-10 provider clinical FTE) with multiple service lines and/or one service line that has greater than 5 providers. Responsibilities include:

  • Oversees daily clinic operations, including administrative and clerical functions.
  • Coordinates policies, procedures, and programs to support short- and long-term practice goals.
  • Manages scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient patient care and quality standards.
  • Partners with providers to address and resolve patient flow issues in real time.
  • Handles patient complaints and service issues, collaborating with others as needed for resolution.
  • Leads HR functions for clinic staff (clinical and support), including hiring, performance management, disciplinary actions, and scheduling.
  • Oversees onboarding, training, and competency of new and existing staff.
  • Ensures high standards of customer service across all clinic operations.
  • Supports financial oversight of the clinic in partnership with Director of Practice Operations.
  • Assists with budget planning (operating, capital, training) and monitors monthly expenses.
  • Prepares and reviews operational reports, identifying trends and recommendations.
  • Oversees supply ordering, equipment maintenance, and cost-saving initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • One to two years’ previous supervisory experience, required.
  • Experience working in an outpatient medical practice in a supervisory capacity, preferred.
  • Education: BA in Business or Health Care Administration or related field, preferred.
  • Clinical Licensure as an RN or LPN, licensed in the state of NC, preferred.
  • Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.
  • Skills in planning, organizing, delegating, supervising, and to make recommendations for improved operational systems.
  • Ability to make decisions and work independently without specific instruction regularly.
  • Active CPR, preferred.
  • Bilingual, preferred.
