Overview

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Program Analyst to be part of our 340B Program Compliance Team in Hendersonville, NC.

 

$27.86/hr starting pay rate - higher pay possible based on experience, certification, etc.

What You'll Do:

The 340B Analyst ensures compliance, accuracy, and optimization of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, which enables covered healthcare entities to purchase discounted drugs. They are responsible for auditing, managing TPA software, preventing duplicate discounts, diversion, identifying risk, and monitoring contract pharmacy operations to ensure adherence to HRSA regulations. The analyst provides input and feedback in support of 340B policies, procedures, and programmatic changes on an ongoing basis to ensure 340B program compliance, integrity, and maximization. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform regular 340B audits (monthly/quarterly) to ensure compliance and prevent diversion/duplicate discounts.
  • Review and validate patient and prescription eligibility across clinics and mixed-use settings.
  • Analyze purchasing and claims data using Excel to track savings and flag non-eligible transactions.
  • Monitor Medicaid claims and other high-risk areas to prevent duplicate discounts.
  • Manage and maintain 340B software, ensuring accurate data flow between systems and contract pharmacies.
  • Support HRSA and external audits, including prep, participation, and issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain reports on program performance, compliance, and financial impact.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and compliance teams on metrics, reporting, and program improvements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to strengthen the 340B program.
  • Review and update policies/procedures to maintain compliance and reduce risk.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician and Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
  • A general understanding of medical terminology is preferred.
  • Above average communication, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Basic skills using Microsoft Excel and Word required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work demands.
