What You'll Do:

This individual functions as a clinical member of our multidisciplinary behavioral health team and provides treatment, rehabilitation and support services. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, evaluating and revising Person-Centered Plans which are reflective of an individual’s strengths, needs and preferences, maintaining a balance between “important to” and “important for” the individual and serving as a quality blueprint for service delivery.
  • Providing recovery-oriented, stage-wise addiction and mental health treatment services which reflect the goals addressed in each individual’s Person Centered Plan and utilize evidence-based interventions and strategies.
  • Providing symptom education to enable clients to identify their unique symptoms of addiction and mental illness and understand their diagnosis.
  • Providing individual supportive therapy (i.e. problem solving, role-playing, modeling and support), social skill development and assertiveness training to increase client social and interpersonal activities in community settings.
  • Providing and directing written, telephonic and face-to-face consultation services and collaboration efforts for various persons and organizations, which affect the client.

What We're Looking For:

  • Individual must be a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to follow established guidelines for assessing compliance with operational procedures and ensuring desired outcomes.
