Overview

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a PRN Biller to be part of our Patient Financial Services team.

What You'll Do:

The Biller will perform all duties necessary to file claims from across the company, monitor those claims, and collect on the claims with the appropriate insurer or party. Responsibilities include:

  • Bill claims with the appropriate insurer.
  • Monitor and correct unpaid claims.
  • Post insurer payments in the E.H.R system.
  • Post electronic payments for various Blue Ridge Health departments.
  • Support other PFS areas and functions as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience in medical billing required
  • Familiarity with utilizing Microsoft office products (i.e. word, excel)
  • Familiarity with utilizing multi-line phone systems, copier, scanner, fax and other office equipment.
  • Familiarity with Medical Terminology and CPT-10 coding. CPT-10 certification preferred.
