Overview

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking an Assistant Chief Medical Offer to be part of our Clinical Admin team in Hendersonville, NC.

What You'll Do:

The Assistant Chief Medical Officer will assist the Chief Medical Officer for managing all BRCHS clinical operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Will assist to provide clinical and administrative guidance in all areas of primary medical care.
  • Works closely with the CMO and Senior Staff to coordinate clinical activities.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other departments to establish and carry out operational responsibilities.
  • Assists in the review of operating policies and procedures as needed.
  • Helps direct the basic activities in collecting and analyzing medical information to improve clinical outcomes.
  • Accepts additional responsibilities as required that may include but are not limited to:
         Oversees MOUD Services
         Helps with grants and follow through
         Clinical initiative coordination
         Coder incorporation and possible supervision
         Oversees advanced practice providers

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree from an accredited University.
  • Board certification in primary specialty.
  • Three years of clinical practice experience.
  • An in-depth understanding of and experience with ambulatory clinical operations.
  • Some knowledge of finance, cost control and productivity enhancements.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills with Health Center staff and members of the community.
  • Currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of modern medicine.
