Overview

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a PRN Pharmacist to be part of our Pharmacy team.
No nights or weekends! Desire applicants with 2 weekdays available per week for flexible scheduling.

What You'll Do:

The Pharmacist serves patients by preparing medications, giving pharmacological information to a multidisciplinary health care team, and monitors patient drug therapies. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinates activities with pharmacist manager by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
  • Consults with staff Physicians on the use, characteristics, and effects of drugs
  • Maintains custody and control of narcotics
  • Ability to recognize physical, chemical, and therapeutic incompatibilities
  • Thorough knowledge of pharmacy, drug, narcotic, and related laws of the state of NC
  • Monitor and analyze the health of the patient, with respect to the drugs that have been given to patient.

What We're Looking For:

  • BS Pharmacy
  • Appropriate licensure in North Carolina
