Overview

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a SAIOP Therapist to be part of our Behavioral Health Team. 

A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

What You'll Do:

The SAIOP Therapist is responsible for the timely recording of all treatment and clinically significant events for the medical record in the manner prescribed by the agency quality assurance and quality improvement manuals.  The IOP Clinical SA Therapist also completes a variety of utilization, reporting, and monitoring forms for insurance companies, preferred provider networks, health maintenance organizations, managed care entities and other party payers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Masters Degree in a human services field and NC state certification as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) or be within one year of attaining this certification. If not a LCAS, candidates must have at least two years of post-Master’s experience in the performance of SA counseling responsibilities.

  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Bilingual a plus
