What You'll Do:

The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance and repair duties for facility locations and on facility equipment including, but not limited to, in the areas of carpentry, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems troubleshooting and repair. Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments to equipment and clinic facilities
  • Performs regular maintenance activities per BRH maintenance requests submitted by management and as directed by the Facilities Manager.
  • Performs critical/urgent maintenance activities for emergency situations as directed by the Facilities Manager.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Take any equipment out of service that cannot be repaired and notify site manager(s) of any issues related to equipment that cannot be repaireda. Assists in the completion of routine monthly maintenance review of BRH locations and equipment for any needed preventive maintenance issues.
  • Performs regular preventive maintenance activities on machines, equipment, and BRH facilities.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and any other issues, reporting those and any other unusual situations to the Facilities Manager.
  • Comply with all OSHA, federal and state safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area(s).

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid North Carolina driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience working with carpentry, plumbing and small electrical repair
