Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Psychometrist to be part of our Behavioral Health team.

What You'll Do:

Psychometrists administer and score neuropsychological, psychological, and personality tests for clients with psychiatric disorders, including intellectual disabilities, mood disorders, and other psychiatric diagnoses. Responsibilities include:

  • Work directly under the supervision of a licensed psychologist to administer a variety of psychological assessments to clients
  • Collecting assessment data with clients
  • Scoring assessment data
  • Interpretation of assessment data
  • Preparation of written reports
  • Participate in clinical interviews of clients and family members
  • Independently offer psychiatric diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on relevant assessment information
  • Participate in interactive feedback of results with clients and family members
  • Support professional growth and development of graduate student interns as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Master’s Degree in psychology or related field
  • Prior education and experience in the administration, scoring and interpretation of psychological assessment instruments
  • Fully licensed as a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) by North Carolina Psychology Board
